“In particular, during December we learned that nine foreign citizens were registered in a flat on Zlobina street. The flat owner illegally registered them as residents of the location. We have opened a criminal investigation on this case,” Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region in Media Relations, told PenzaNews agency.
According to her, a similar criminal case was opened after the officials learned of four immigrants registered in a flat on Ostrovskovo street.
“Similar cases were uncovered by prosecutors in the Pervomaisky area of Penza city, as well as Vadinsk, Zemetchino, Kuznetsk, Lopatino, Neverkino, Penza, Serdobsk and Spassk areas,” said the state official.
