Officials encourage Penza good producers to increase dairy products range
Penza, 16 January 2015. PenzaNews. Penza region producers recommended to increase volumes and expand the range of dairy products. The proposal was expressed by Andrei Burlakov, Minister of Agriculture of the region, during a working meeting with milk producing and processing companies along with supermarket chain stores representatives, which was held on Friday, January 16.

“There are over ten milk processors in the region, ranging from large to small enterprises, from well-known to obscure brands. Today, customers should have a choice in range and price of goods,” the minister said.
Andrei Burlakov stressed the need to take care of people of various social standings, including the disadvantaged.
As the press service of the regional government told PenzaNews agency, dairy producers have declared their readiness to work actively with chain stores and expand the range.
According to monitoring data, in the region, from January 1 to January 12, the price of pasteurized milk with fat content of 2.5% and 3.2% increased by 4.2%.
In this regard, Andrei Burlakov, minister of agriculture of the Penza region, sent an appeal to Oksana Kuznetsova, head of the regional department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, to justify the price rise for dairy products.
