Penza, 20 January 2015. PenzaNews. The police have learned about yet another case of online fraud that resulted in loss of money for a citizen who was trying to find job in the Penza city administration.

This time, a 20-year old man addressed the police.

“He said he found a vacancy ad for a driver job in the Penza city administration on Avito.ru, and called the number listed in it. An unknown man offered him to come to an interview, and later on called him back with a request to transfer 1,800 rubles to his mobile phone number, saying he will return the favor when they meet. The victim transferred the sum to the phone number,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs commented for PenzaNews agency.

The officials are investigating the fraud.

“The police are establishing the identities of people involved in the case,” said the press service.
