Flights connecting Penza with Samara, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod subsidized

Penza, 20 January 2015. PenzaNews. Russian Federation Civil Aviation Administration (RFCAA) included Penza—Samara, Penza—Kazan, and Nizhny Novgorod—Penza flights in the list of routes that will receive government subsidies in 2015 as part of measures to provide state support for regional air service carried out through grants to organizations of air transport.

These flights will be operated by JSC Avia Management Group.

As the RFCAA website notes, the routes are actually included in the list of subsidized in case the regions provide information about the adoption of laws and regulations on the allocation of subsidies to the carrier from the regional budget for air travel to these destinations.

As Penza Airport administration told PenzaNews agency, Avia Management Group is planning to start operating flights to Kazan starting from February 2.

“The actual schedule will be agreed on as soon as possible,” the administration of the company added.
