“We all are inconvenienced by heavy snowfalls, jumpy temperature and slippery roads and pavements. If you care about your city and call yourself the citizens of Penza, do not stand aside – help us clean snow. Let us make this day a notable mark in the history of the city and a sign of love to our Penza,” said the mayor.
According to him, the citizens’ activity will become a good example for the new generation.
“I would like to add that participation is solely voluntary,” Yuri Krivov stressed.
From his point of view, the first things the citizens need in this endeavor are the will for self-organization, and the wish to help.
“I would like to ask the deputies of the Penza city Duma to provide assistance for this campaign, and help coordinate it in their electoral districts. I would also like to ask policemen and other law authority officers to help clean snow on hard-to-reach road and highway segments,” added the head of the city administration.
The official expressed his belief that Penza has great future as long as there are people who care about it.
“I hope our joint work becomes a good tradition that will unite all citizens. We need every initiative, and every man. There is work for everyone, but let us make this a voluntary task,” Yuri Krivov said.
As the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency, those who want to take part in the Saturday campaign must register with the regional administration to receive working tools and roadmaps.
As of now, the authorities have not yet published the campaign schedule.
