Winter “Linux Basics” classes opened in Penza

Penza, 3 February 2015. PenzaNews. The second winter session of “Linux Basics” classes opened at the Penza State Technological University.

During the course, school, university and graduate students, as well as working professionals, will be able to learn about the basics of working with OS Linux.

“During the classes, we will teach people how to develop applications in C/C++ and Python programming languages, as well as focus on parallel programming, utilizing OpenCV computer vision library in mobile robotics, and demonstrate capabilities and working stages of the Russian ‘Lomonosov’ supercomputer,” the PSTU press service commented for PenzaNews agency.

According to the university, the courses will be practically-oriented, and last until Saturday, February 7.
