Penza, 3 February 2015. PenzaNews. Over 189 million rubles of wage arrears has been settled in the Penza region thanks to the measures taken by the prosecutor’s office.

“In particular, the payments were made in MUE ‘Teplichny kombinat,’ Penza branch of PJSC ‘Volgomost,’ JSC ‘Gorgaz,’ SAC ‘The newspaper `Labor honor`’ and LLC ‘Belinskaya poultry plant’,” Yuliya Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region in Media Relations, told PenzaNews agency.

She added the regional prosecutors brought to administrative responsibility 531 wrongdoers in 2014, and 15 of them were disqualified for a period of 1 year, based on audit materials.

“The regional prosecutor’s office continues it struggle to eliminate violations of labor law, including wages,” the agency interlocutor said.
