Commenting on the adequacy of financial resources during a meeting of the Standing Committee of the City Duma on education, health, science, culture and social issues, he explained that no reductions are planned regarding the municipal camp “Romantik.”

“We hope to keep within the provided amount. For all other [expenditure], when it comes to summer break, we get everything from the region. And there is no information about that so far,” he said.

Sergei Volkov clarified that “Romantik” had two sessions in 2014, 150 students each.

“This year we plan welcome there 300 children. Along with this, we traditionally expect, as last year, vouchers to recreation camps and resorts provided by the region. Last year there were 1,620 of them, and for the first time we also sent 172 children in Crimea for free,” the head of the social management department of Penza reminded, adding that, according to preliminary data, vouchers to the Crimea will be provided this year as well.
