Over 1,000 children born in Penza region in early 2015

Penza, 18 February 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 1,136 children have been born in the Penza region in January 2015.

“The average level was 9.8 newborn per thousand. High birth levels are observed in the Penza area (14.2 per thousand), the Kolyshley area (11 per thousand) and the Lunino area (10.9 per thousand),” the press service of the regional Ministry of Health informed PenzaNews agency.

According to the officials, a total of 493 children were born in Penza city alone that month.

“The average city birth rate grew to 11.1 per thousand,” the press service clarified.
