Communist Party followers honored Victor Ilyukhin’s legacy
Penza, 1 March 2015. PenzaNews. Representatives of the Communist Party of Russian Federation laid flowers to the memorial plaque of Victor Ilyukhin, former deputy of the State Duma and opposition politician, on Suvorova street, 160, the house where he lived with his family.

The event commemorating the Communist party member’s 66th anniversary was opened by the first secretary of the CPRF city committee Dmitry Filyaev, who recalled the major milestones of the prominent politician’s life.
He stressed that Victor Ilyukhin was an outspoken person who easily made companions, never ignored any requests and never left another’s problem unnoticed.
“With all his life, his struggle, bravery and selfless lavor, Victor Ivanovich proved more and more that even one man can be worth an army,” Dmitry Filyaev said.
According to him, Victor Ilyukhin as a personality was very great, as he was one of the few modern politicians who openly opposed the current regime.
At the end of the rally, the public laid flowers to the Communist’s memorial plaque.
