APF representatives summarized results, made plans for 2015

Penza, 1 March 2015. PenzaNews. The regional branch of the All-Russia People’s Front (APF) held a conference dedicated to drawing up the results of the past year’s work and setting up plans for the nearest future at the Penza Lermontov Regional Library on Saturday, February 28.

Valeriy Trapeznikov, member of the APF Central Board, State Duma deputy from the Perm region for United Russia faction, also took part in the event.

In his address, the deputy dwelled on the most vital anti-recessionary measures designed to support the people, as well as programs to attract young specialists to factories.

“The young are quite reluctant to study at the engineering universities. However, life made us turn towards our industry – not only gas and oil, but also in aviation, defense and agriculture,” he noted.

Russians must not depend from imported goods because they are able to produce high-quality items themselves, while import replacement goals may be solved on the regional level, Vitaliy Trapeznikov stressed.

Afterwards, heads of the Penza APF working groups reported on the results of their work.

One of them, Mikhail Krasnov, co-chairman of the regional APF branch, head of the regional cardiovascular center, neurosurgeon at the Burdenko clinical hospital, told the audience about a talk held by members of “Social Justice” working group together with experts of the “Zdorovye” independent monitoring foundation.

According to him, the main topic of the talk was optimization of healthcare services, and the resulting suggestions will be used for preparation to the All-Russian Healthcare Forum.

Mikhail Krasnov also told about the achievements of the Penza “MedInzh” company that specializes on development and production of high-end medical constructions, internal prosthetics and implants.

In his turn, Gennady Belorybkin, APF member, director of the Institute of Continuous Education at the Penza State University, dwelled on the results of the all-Russian education forum that had been held in Penza.

The issue of the main mission of the teacher and his role in a child’s upbringing is one of the most presently discussed, he explained.

“If a teacher stops working with the child, stops orienting him in the life, and does paper work day and night instead, tomorrow we will have people who don’t know about the Second World War, about the Motherland. The teacher must do what he must do and work for the future,” he said.

In his address to the co-mambers, Mikhail Lisin, head of the working group “Fair and Effective Economy” of the Penza APF branch, chairman of the regional department of “Business Russia,” reported on monitoring of state procurement tenders.

Working group members also joined the development of the project “Direct Connection: Authorities and Business” that will facilitate cooperation between businessmen and state officials, he stated.

Nikolai Kotov, co-chairman of the regional APF branch, chairman of the Regional Workers’ Unions Federation, noted the May orders of the Russian President will remain the 2015 missions of the working group “Routine Life Quality.”

“The priority activities for APF, including its regional branch, is civil monitoring and control of state dilapidated housing replacement and capital repair program. Our schedule for this year also includes issues of social consumption norms and bill limitation mechanisms, as well as licensing procedures for urban management enterprises,” he explained.

The conference also included elections of new regional APF branch members. Organization passports were given to Oleg Yagov, dean of the faculty of History and Phylology at the Penza State University, chairman of the Penza department of the Russian Historical Society; Lidiya Sidorova, chairman of the regional Consumers Association; Ivan Filyurin, former regional Minister of Agriculture, chairman of the Bashmakovo agricultural union; and Valeriy Yurin, project department head of Penzaprofkurort, says the press service of the regional organization.
