Penza, 8 March 2015. PenzaNews. The head of Penza city administration Yuri Krivov has congratulated the women in the region with International Women’s Day celebrated on Sunday, March 8.

“This wonderful day is a great opportunity to express our admiration of our women’s kindness, tenderness, wisdom and hard-working attitude. Our city was always praised for the surprising beauty of the Penza ladies: everybody, both the locals and the guests of the Sura region, point it out. Dear ladies, may you stay beautiful, charming and eternally youthful. May your beauty always be one of the Penza landmarks,” said the mayor.

At the present times, the Penza ladies are working in industries along with men, head many city enterprises and official seats, show their skills in social work, science, arts, sports and business, he noted.

According to Yuri Krivov, the women still tend to the household despite their occupations, and, what is the most important, give their lives to the children, using all their emotional warmth, patience and understanding to educated them.

“The atmosphere in homes, and thus in the city, depend on you,” the mayor stressed.

He expressed particular gratitude to the elderly: the veterans of the Second World War, the war factory workers, veterans of labor, whose steadfast attitude and strong will are an example to the new generation.

“With the warmest feelings, I wish all ladies of Penza city happiness, spring mood and love. I would also like to wish every woman to have somebody to care about, to be an object of care herself, to be mutually faithful,” Yuri Krivov added.
