LDPR announced contest on best media investigation into authority bribery
Penza, 10 March 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza regional branch of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Russia has announced a contest on the best media investigation dedicated to unveiling bribery in the regional authorities.
The contest is open for journalists, bloggers, rights activists and citizens, as well as politicians.
Anyone can apply for participating in the contest until May 1, and must supply their entries by June 30.
Every entry must be reinforced with required documents showing bribery, including answers to public requests, regular and social media publications.
The results of the contest will be announced on July 1.
The prize fund is set at 80,000 rubles: the winner will get 50,000, while the runners-up will receive 20,000 and 10,000.
“Don’t stay indifferent to state bribery. Enough with the bribes, the no-can-dos and fraud schemes of officials! Together, we will cleanse the authorities of those who stain its image of the people,” says the website of the Penza region LDPR branch.
