Penza, 12 March 2015. PenzaNews. The mayor Yuri Krivov urged the young people to participate in the project “Faces of Penza” that aims to gather and update information on the region in order to publish it in Wikipedia.

“There are many things that are incorrect there. Often, the online encyclopedia mentions people as having connections with Penza while they have none. And, on the contrary, it does not mention certain people who do. The history and language science students can really do something here,” he said during the meeting with students and professors of the Belinsky Pedagogical Institute of the Penza State University that took place on Thursday, March 12.

The mayor also told the audience about the project “Housing lessons” aimed at improving citizens’ knowledge about the housing sphere law issues.

According to the press service of the Penza city administration, Yuri Krivov offered the Pedagogical University students to take part in the project.
