Penza villages to build playgrounds, repair monuments using grant money

Penza, 16 March 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 45 socially important non-commercial projects aimed to create and equip sport and children’s playgrounds, along with five aimed to repair monuments to the fallen soldiers of the Second World War, will be completed in the Penza region this year.
The events are included in the federal target program “Sustainable village development in 2014-2017 and until 2020” that provides support from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture for local citizen initiatives.
A total of 11.1 million rubles, oncluding 4.5 million from the regional budget, will be used to finance the projects, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency.
It is expected that children’s playgrounds will be built and equipped in villages of the Kuznetsk, Lopatino, Nizhny Lomov, Mokshan and other areas of the region.
The funds will also be used for repairs of the monument of the Mother in Grief and the Alley of Heroes in Neverkino village, along with memorials in the villages of Golitsyno, Mayskoe, Reshetino and Bolshoy Truyev.
