Six film crews of people below 25 from St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Vladimir, Izhevsk, Krasnoyarsky Krai and Penza will take part in the event after successfully passing the remote entry stage.

The remote entry stage was set as a competition of short films on business innovations, history of scientific research and discovery, various aspects of science, and video essays on popular science topics.

The personal participation stage is titled “Innovation is for the youth.”

During the two days, the film crews will be tasked to create films about the youth innovation centers of the Penza region: “NanoElectroLab,” “INVIS,” “Act,” “TechnoArt,” “A Step Towards Future,” “From Idea To Model.”

The popular science reels should tell the viewers about the work of centers in a simple and easy-to-grasp way. Each crew will be randomly assigned to each center.

This year, the jury will include Stanislav Demchenko, lead film director and scriptwriter of “Lennauchfilm” studio; Irina Dulenina, professor of the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television; Svetlana Starostina, president of the Ivan Mozzhukhin festival “Men’s Role”; and Elena Glikman, head of TV studio “Reporter.”

The winning group will be announced at the closing ceremony that will be held in the Penza regional library at 11.00 am on March 28.
