Penza, 16 March 2015. PenzaNews. A charity campaign “Help children of Donbass” took place at the Penza Cathedral of the Assumption.

The event was organized by the Orthodox youth society of the cathedral.

“During the campaign, all benefactors received traditional pastries of the Adoration of the Precious Cross. The raised funds will be transferred to an account of the charity foundation ‘Help children of Donbass.’ We also collected various kinds of humanitarian aid, like clothing, stationery, hygiene items and books. We will give it all to the Cossacks, who will be sending humanitarian aid to Donbass in the nearest future,” the press service of the Penza diocese informed PenzaNews agency.

A similar campaign is expected to take place on Sunday, March 22.
