Distinguished Penza region residents receive state awards

Penza, 18 March 2015. PenzaNews. A state award ceremony for the distinguished Penza region citizens took place at the city regional administration on Wednesday, March 18.

Opening the meeting, the governor Vasily Bochkarev noted that the merits of people, who have made a significant contribution to the development of the region, will now be duly rewarded.
“I would like to thank each one of you for your professional work,” he said.
According to Vasily Bochkarev, those present at the ceremony were not thinking about the awards, but rather wanted to realize their potential and do their job efficiently.
The governor noted that the ceremony is timed to the remarkable day for the country, the anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.
During the event, Russian President’s notes of acknowledgement were presented to Andrei Zhukov, director of the Penza Filatov Regional Children’s Hospital; and Yuri Utkin, chief physician of the city detoxification hospital. The latter, on behalf the hospital team, promised to do everything possible for prevention measures and rehabilitation of drug addicts.
The note of gratitude was also presented to Nikolai Inyushkin, professor of the Penza State University.
The title of Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation was awarded to Alexander Ivanov, head of the department “Theory and Methods of Sports Disciplines” at the Penza State University.
In addition, Svetlana Lyubimova, deputy director of the Russia Pension Fund department in the Penza region, was pronounced the Honored Worker of Social Protection Services of the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Teptsov, head of the Shemysheysky area who is currently celebrating his 65th anniversary, received the order “For Merits to the Penza Region.”
Moreover, Vasily Kozyrkov, chairman of the Zemetchino area court, was awarded the honorary title “Honored Lawyer of the Penza region.”
The participants took a group photo at the end of the ceremony.
