Penza, 19 March 2015. PenzaNews. Yuri Razorenkov, chairman of the sports club “Sever,” held an MMA workshop for Penza State University students as part of the federal project “Credit” organized by the regional department of the Young Guard of United Russia.

After a brief theory course, the athlete initiated the audience into the most simple fighting techniques, placing special emphasis on self-defense basics.

The students were free to ask questions during the lesson.

According to Veronika Danilina, coordinator of the project “Credit” in the Penza region, the main mission of the project is to increase healthy lifestyle and sports awareness for the youth.

The project “Credit” is a federal-level campaign of the Youth Guard of United Russia, an all-Russian civil organization, that aims to protect the students’ rights.

The campaign aims to reveal the issues of the students, unite civil leaders, promote the principles of civilian youth activism, and lay down law initiatives in the spheres of higher and vocational education.
