Penza, 19 March 2015. PenzaNews. Penza city will join the regional urban amenities and sanitary measures month that will be held from March 23 to April 30. The relevant city administration decision was signed on Thursday, March 19.

Enterprises, organizations, institutions and regular citizens should clean up building facades, pedestals and guard elements they own, and clean their own and adjacent territory.

Moreover, legal entities and individuals assigned to bus stops are requested to repair and paint them, and install trash cans.

In addition, the officials plan to use the opportunity to bring sanitary levels of city yards up to standards with the help of urban amenity enterprises, urban management companies, members of housing societies and cooperatives, condominiums, and citizens, organize snow-thawing procedures, trash removal from local areas, repairs of children and sports playgrounds, small-scale installations, fences and gates.

During the urban amenities provision month, the Department of Culture and City Development of the Penza administration will increase its control over situations at construction sites and adjacent territories. In particular, they will thoroughly monitor installations, repairs and painting works of fences and borders, trash collection and removal, and equipment of entrances for cars and construction vehicles.

Beyond that, the administrative and technical inspection will strengthen its requirements to heads of earthworks companies and organizations in terms of timely road repairs in communication-laying areas and their further urban improvement.

The city cleaning enterprise will accept trash for free to later discard it to the municipal solid waste landfill, with an exception for industrial and construction trash, based on receipts issued by the regional city area administrations.

The city-wide cleaning Saturday will be held in Penza on April 25.
