Penza, 22 March 2015. PenzaNews. Specialists of the Penza fire and general rescue center saved a fisherman from an ice floe in Barkovka area.

The incident took place on Saturday, March 21, the press service of the regional EMERCOM department informed PenzaNews agency.

“A witness reported a man on an ice floe on Sura river. The rescuers were immediately dispatched to the location, who took the fisherman off the ice floe and brought him back to the land,” the department explained.

The press service reminded of the dangers of the fragile spring ice, and warned the citizens to stay away from it and avoid danger.
