Larisa Zaitseva won Penza city stage of “Educator of the Year” contest

Penza, 30 March 2015. PenzaNews. A Physical Education instructor of kindergarten No. 52 Larisa Zaitseva has won the city-wide stage of the national contest “Educator of the Year” that had concluded at the Penza children and youth crafts center on Monday, March 30.

The second place was reached by Daria Dmitrieva, head music tutor of kindergarten No. 59, and the third was granted to Nadezhda Zhuravleva, teacher of branch No. 1 of kindergarten No. 124.
The best educators have won the certificates for 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000 rubles respectively.
Expressing his gratitude to preschool educators, the Penza mayor Yuri Krivov noted that such tutors and teachers are vital for education of children and preparation for school.
“Thank you for what you have done during the contest, for being an example on how to strive for excellence in one’s profession. I would also like to thank the staff of our kindergartens that sent their members to the city-wide contest,” he added.
In his turn, Roman Petrukhin, deputy chairman of the City Duma, also congratulated the best teachers and stressed that those who work in kindergartens are selfless.
“Thank you so much for what you are, for your work, for loving, protecting, caring about our children, giving them a chance to show the best qualities, for making each weekday happier, more joyful,” he said.
