Penza, 5 April 2015. PenzaNews. The Legislative Assembly of the Penza region will soon review a law on using the imagery of the Victory Flag in the region.

According to the note accompanying the recommended law, it has been developed on a request of deputy chairman of the Committee on State-Managed Construction and Local Self-Government; the first secretary of the Communist Party regional committee Georgy Kamnev; deputy Lyubov Ruzmanov; chairman of the City Veteran Council Vladimik Kerkhanadzhev; and the Youth Council.

It provides for a possibility to install copies of the Victory Flag on buildings of state government bodies and institutions together with the Russian flag on Victory Day, days of military glory, and other memorial days connected to the Second World War.

The Russian flag and the copy of the Victory Flag will be raised and lowered together following the procedures applied to the Russian flag and the flag of the Penza region.
