Penza, 9 April 2015. PenzaNews. A list of 50 most demanded professions in the Penza region will be created by April 17, announced the acting regional Minister of Education Alexander Voronkov after a session of the State Civil Council on Qualified Professional Education under the regional government.

According to him, the document will serve as a base for student number plans in the regional colleges. According to expectations, the vocational colleges of the Penza region will enroll 6,000 students in the educational year of 2015-2016.

The areas with the most demanded professions in the Penza region include engineering and technology inspection, IT, information security, machinery, clothing industry, electronics industry, radio and communications, electrical and heat energy, chemical technologies, industrial ecology and biotechnology, vehicle technology, agriculture, forestry and fish industry, veterinary and zoological industry.

The region uses a dual education system to upgrade the college education system. Currently, over 1,700 students are undergoing dual education courses that involve 1,205 companies.

Moreover, a project “We learn by working” will start in September 2015. The project will help the students combine education with actual work under their individual schedule.

Based on the news provided by the press service of the Penza region, the officials plan to involve 7,000 students in the dual education system throughout the education year of 2015-2016.
