Penza deputies unable to discuss transport issues due to Igor Norkin’s absence

Penza, 10 April 2015. PenzaNews. The report on the activities of the department of transport and communications of Penza on conditions for the provision of public services and transport services in 2014, has been removed from the agenda of the City Duma standing committee meeting on the social and economic development, industry, transport, communications and business.

The speaker on the topic was supposed to be Igor Norkin, head of Penza transport and communications department, who did not appear at the meeting.
As Maxim Ivankin, deputy head of the department explained, Igor Norkin went on a vacation for two weeks.
The deputies were not informed about it, as no official documents on the leave had been filed.
Igor Norkin’s report was to be the main issue on the agenda.
After a brief discussion, the deputies decided to continue with the meeting.
“There is a proposal to remove the first issue from the agenda. Those in favor, please, vote. Accepted,” Alexander Strelnikov, chairman of the City Duma standing committee, said.
After that, the deputies proceeded to the discussion of a long-term work plan of the commission for 2015.
