Over 6,000 Penza citizens to be able to study in regular, community colleges for free
Penza, 17 April 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 6,058 people will be able to begin studies in regular and community colleges of the Penza region free of charge through state-subsidized programs on September 1, 2015.
The figures for free admittance in vocational education institutions were defined through a decision of the regional government.
There will be 45 free-of-charge seats in physical education area, 500 in healthcare, 235 in culture, 12 in social security, and 5,266 in education, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency.
“In accordance to the demands of the Penza region economy, we increased the numbers of free-of-charge education slots in agriculture construction and transportation,” the officials noted.
According to the Ministry, the planned numbers will be assigned to educational institutions after a public contest.
