Penza, 19 April 2015. PenzaNews. The city of Penza has held a Voluntary City Help Day on Saturday, April 18.

Among those who actively helped clean up the city after the winter were municipal state servants of the city administration.

The Saturday cleaners swept sand and trash off the streets, removed old leaves off the yards, and painted the trees with paint to protect them from parasites.

The city is currently holding weekly Friday and Saturday cleanings as part of the urban improvement month that began on March 23.

According to the press service of the Penza city administration, the classic city-wide Saturday city help campaign will be held on April 25.
