Penza, 21 April 2015. PenzaNews. Icon of the Mother of God “Deliveress” and the relics of the patrons of the army and Cossacks have arrived from Samara to Penza on Tuesday, April 21.

The welcoming ceremony took place near the currently-under-construction Spassky Cathedral on the Sovetskaya square. The participants held a procession to the temple of the Annunciation, where the relics will stay until Saturday noon, April 25.

It is planned that during this time the temple will be open from 7.00 to 19.00.

a procession around the Spassky Cathedral will take place on Saturday, April 25, at 12.00 with the blessing of the Archbishop Seraphim of Penza and Nizhny Lomov.

Afterwards, the relics will travel to the Resurrection Temple in Zarechny.
