Penza, 23 April 2015. PenzaNews. The city of Penza has been placed the fifth most expensive Russian city in the Travel.ru website city rating according to the May holiday package costs.

Each of the 22 cities in the rating was evaluated based on the cost of a trip-for-two May holiday package, including the costs of staying in a 2-3-star hotel 6 kilometers away from the city downtown on May 3-4; having a dinner in a middle-class café; enjoying a guided tour; getting a single-day public commute ticket; visiting the most popular local museum; and using the public transport to go from the airport or the train station to the city center.

The Penza May trip package cost was calculated at 2,890 rubles.

The Saratov was named the cheapest city out of the 22 in the list, with a package of 2,528 rubles, while the most expensive cities ended up being Yalta (4,231 rubles) and Suzdal (5,396 rubles).

The list did not include the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
