Penza, 26 April 2015. PenzaNews. About 21,600 people took part in the city-wide Saturday cleaning held in Penza on April 25, the press service of the city administration informed PenzaNews agency.

“We used 186 machines, took off 48 illegal trash dumping sites, and removed nearly 200 cubic meters of rubbish,” the city administration clarified.

According to them, the urban services also planted 3,830 new trees and shrubs in Penza.

The press service added that the citizens who took part in the Saturday cleaning took care of six alleys – by “Zarya” culture center, by “Mogilevsky Yard,” by Pionersky public guarden, across “Prospekt” trade center, on the corner of Druzhby and Klary Tsetkin streets, and by Klary Tsetkin street, 15, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
