Penza, 27 April 2015. PenzaNews. Dance flash mob organized to support the nationwide “Moment of silence,” took place near the Penza shopping center “Vysshaya Liga” on Monday, April 27.

The flash mob is to draw the attention of Penza citizens to the event that commemorates the price paid for the victory.

Young people performed dance routine to the songs of the war years. Along with seeing the performance, the citizens had an opportunity to learn that a Penza preface to the “Moment of silence” will be broadcast on Victory Day by television and radio, as well as on public websites from 18.50 to 18.55, followed by the all-Russian broadcast from 18.55 to 19.00.

In addition, the flash mob participants handed out information leaflets.

Similar flash mobs will take place in the Belinsky central park at 16.00 on April 28, in the Central Mall at 13.00 on May 7, and on Teatralnaya square at 15.00 on May 8.

“This year for the first time our city supports the ‘Moment of silence’ action this widely. And, of course, we want to let every Penza resident know that such an action will take place,” Valery Anufriev, head of choreographic art center and one of the flash mob organizers, told PenzaNews agency.
