Oleg Totsky jailed for lethal traffic accident included in amnesty

Penza, 30 April 2015. PenzaNews. A renown Penza businessman Oleg Totsky who had been sentenced to two years in prison for a lethal traffic accident with a motorcycle is included in the amnesty on the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, said internal services lieutenant-colonel Alexander Karachurkin, deputy head of the regional office of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia during a press conference held on Thursday, April 30.

“His crime was caused by inadvertence,” he said.
As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, Oleg Totsky driving a Lincoln car collided with a Suzuki-250 motorcycle while executing a turn on Pobedy prospekt of Penza late on September 14, 2012. The motorcycle driver, born in 1991, died at the scene, while his passenger was hospitalized with injuries.
