Penza, 3 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Archbishop Serafim of Penza and Nizhny Lomov has sanctified the health and medical center “Blago Daryu” (lit. “I give my blessing”) on Pobedy prospekt, 75, on Saturday, May 2.

The event also involved the center management and the chairman of the Penza family, motherhood and childhood support foundation “Pokrov” Anna Kuznetsova.

The staff of the center received a blessing for their work and cooperation.

The sanctification ritual was followed by a talk of the patients with the Archbishop Serafim and official assignment of the priest Nikolai Ozersky as the institution’s spiritual father.

The center “Blago Daryu” provides rehabilitation help to people with grave illnesses, the disabled and those who were injured in car accidents.

The institution also aims to host monthly Saturday mother meetings, along with communion rituals for the children themselves, both within the center and in the Penza church of the Supreme Apostles St. Peter and Paul each month.

The center “Blago Daryu” was opened thanks to the project “Patron” that already organized charity therapeutic horse riding lessons for the disabled children, says the press service of the Penza diocese.
