Penza, 5 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza city patriotic campaign “The Star of Memory” is approaching its conclusion.

Starting from March 1, the cultural workers of the city were holding guided tours through notable places of WWII combat every Thursday.

Moreover, a new watch was organized by the Penza Military and Labor Valor Monument.

The seventy-day campaign will conclude in Penza citizens joining the all-Russian event “Memory Watch” that will be held by the memorial places from 12.00 to 13.00 on Friday, May 8.

These include the Penza Military and Labor Valor Monument, the Farewell Monument, the stela “Glory to Heroes,” the Afghan Gates monument and the Torn Star complex, says the press service of the Penza city administration.
