During a live Q&A session on “Echo Penzy” radio station on Tuesday, May 5, the official said that “Penza city administration is not related” to legislative changes of the territory’s status.
“I would rather ask you to voice that question to the creator of this decision, the one who made it,” the mayor added.
“As far as I understand, this story is regulated by a Penza region government decree, so perhaps there were some changes. I would ask you to direct this question to those responsible,” said the city administration head.
The question asked during the live Q&A session was likely related to a Penza region government decree dated March 13 2015 and signed by the governor Vasily Bochkarev.
According to the copy of the document available to PenzaNews agency, it makes null and void point 1 of the List of resorts and recreation facilities of regional value located in the Penza region that had been approved on February 8, 2000, by a regional government decree. The voided point is related to the borders of the Akhuny resort sanitary zone.
The document says the decision was made “to make the legal act compliant with the current legislation.”
