Prologue rehearsal for Victory Day held at Penza Military and Labor Valor Monument

Penza, 5 May 2015. PenzaNews. The rehearsal of theatrical prologue “Cranes” was held at the Penza Military and Labor Valor Monument on Tuesday, May 5. The event lasted for about an hour and gathered 100 dancers who appeared in crane-costumes, as well as students of children’s music and art schools.

It is planned that during the festival, the performance will involve more than 1,300 people.

The event is directed by Larisa Alekseeva, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia.

During the festival preparation, there were present deputy head of Penza administration Viktor Gvozdev, head of the department of culture and the city Vera Feygina, who photographed the event on the tablet PC and mobile phone.

It is planned that on May 9, at the monument of military and labor glory of Penza residents, the guests will also be presented the prologue “Holy war,” performed by about 900 dancers of Penza dance groups.

According to the organizers, some of the dance numbers comprising the festival program are ready. They will be structured to compose a single performance.

The event will also involve the cadets of the artillery engineering institute and the military department of Penza State University.
