Up to 65 cars with veterans to run through city in “Our Victory” rally

Penza, 7 May 2015. PenzaNews. As many as 65 cars will take World War II veterans to the Penza Military and Labor Valor Monument where the main festivities dedicated to the 70th Victory anniversary will be held on Saturday, May 9.

“Our Victory” rally will run past the shopping center “Lenta” on Stroiteley prospekt, along 8 Marta, Suvorova, Oktyabrskaya, Dolgova, Rabochaya, Karakozova, Proletarskaya streets, Gagarinsky overpass, Lenina street and Pobedy prospekt.
The car rally is the final stage of the eponymous campaign launched in Penza on Thursday, May 7.
The activists are now distributing St. George’s ribbons in various parts of the city from stylized GAZ-51 cars playing music of the war years, the press service of the regional government informs.
