“Find Mr. Stryuchkov. Offer him to head the Sixth Hospital. Brought the hospital to such a state, he did – now let him go there as the CMO and pull it out of the gutter. Enough of him spending time as a minister,” Vasily Bochkarev told first deputy head of the Penza region Ministry of Healthcare Dmitry Zinovyev during the briefing session in the regional government on Tuesday, May 12.

Moreover, the governor demanded to fully repair several more medical institutions this year.

“The new wing in the Third Hospital must be completed and fully operation. The former maternity clinic must be converted for a maternity welfare center. Some of the Sixth Hospital buildings must be repaired, and the staff issue should be rectified. We’ll take money off some budget items, but we will issue more during the extraordinary [regional Legislative Assembly] session,” he added.

Vasily Bochkarev also demanded the officials to actively use the best tested systems and customs from the other regions aimed at eliminating large queues in the clinics.

“I order you to hold a CMO council to discuss the project,” he said.
