Penza, 12 May 2015. PenzaNews. An individual businessman was fined 20,000 rubles for violating land legislation by building a road towards his sand quarry in the Penza area of the Penza region.

“The administrative investigation found the businessman blocked over 1,500 sq. meters of fertile soil by building a road on an agricultural land section,” Larisa Yakushkina, public relations department expert of Rosselkhoznadzor in Mordovia and the Penza region, told PenzaNews agency.

As a result, the businessman has been accused under Part 2, Art. 8.6 of the Administrative Offences Code, titled “Land damage.”

“He also received the orders to rectify the violation,” the speaker added.
