Penza, 13 May 2015. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev inspected the construction site of a fitness center with a 50-meter swimming pool, which is being built in Sputnik City neighborhood.

He was informed on the state of affairs by the minister of construction and housing in the region Alexander Grishaev, CEO of LLC “Termodom” Rafik Ibrahimov, and chief project engineer of “Grazhdanproekt” Valentin Mineev.

“The pool 50 by 25 meters is designed for 10 tracks. There is a pool for swimming training of children aged 7-14 years, and the entire infrastructure is there: water conditioning, gyms, showers, changing rooms. The total pool area is 8.5 thousand sq. meters,” Valentin Mineev said.

In turn, Rafik Ibragimov informed that at present, the pool construction continues.

“We need to purchase the formwork to finish concrete work in summer. We ask “Gazprom” to allocate the funds,” he said.

The head of the construction company also noted that the complex will be multifunctional in the future.

“We are talked it over and decided to build two more flights, on the left and on the right sides, after the complex is commissioned. For football, and volleyball. This will be done in cooperation with the Penza area,” Rafik Ibragimov stressed.

According to him, the pool will be filled with pure spring water from 130-meter deep well.

Vasily Bochkarev expressed hope that the fitness center will be commissioned before the end of the year.

“The work is hard. The customer is complex. In addition, the project included imported components. Today, the price has changed, but we hope to find a solution together with the contractor who won the tender from “Gazprom,” and buy everything needed,” he said.
