About 600 Penza region pensioners to take Computers 101 courses

Penza, 20 May 2015. PenzaNews. Approximately 580 unemployed pensioners residing in the Penza region will take free computer education courses in the second half of 2015.

“The courses will be funded by the regional budget and the subsidies provided by the Pension Fund of Russia – 1,186,000 rubles,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Demography informed PenzaNews agency.

The courses will be free for the pensioners regardless of their pensions, the ministry added.

“The courses aim to teach the elderly how to actually use state and municipal online services using IT communication equipment,” the Labor Ministry representatives elaborated.
