She went through them armed with a tabled and a MegaFon 4G wireless modem, and found out that the download bandwidth in the PSU, the Pedagogical University, the Technological University, and Agricultural and Architectural Academies varies from 8.4 to 15.5 Mbps, and the top upload bandwidth reached 14.26 Mbps.
“At this level, I can do a lot: quickly download big files, watch high-quality video, upload any content, and, of course, chat in the social networks,” Alina Zareynik commented.
The 4G Internet network was recently pushed online in Penza and 12 other large towns and villages, encompassing over a half of the region’s population, the press service of MegaFon Penza informed PenzaNews agency.
“New online throughput capabilities and an increase in 4G devices available at the market helped the users ‘pump’ almost three times as much traffic in 2014 as they did in 2013,” the company added.
