Penza, 26 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region government dedicated most of its recent meeting to organizing a new hajj to the Saudi Arabia.

The session was led by the regional government chairman Sergei Pulikovsky, and involved several other heads and representatives of the regional official bodies: Alexander Elatontsev, head of Internal Policy and Mass Communications Department; Mikhail Baev, head of Epidemic Monitoring Department for Rospotrebnadzor; Marina Vinogradova, expert of the Ministry of Health; Tatyana Agafonova, head of the regional Federal Migration Services department; and heads of the Muslim spiritual directorates.

During the meeting, Sergei Pulikovsky stressed that the people who intend to travel to Mecca must be informed on vaccination against meningococcosis and seasonal flu and apply for new biometric passports required for traveling abroad as soon as possible.

As a result of the meeting, the officials and the Muslim community representatives agreed on the contents of a cheat sheet for those who would like to visit Mecca. It will be published on the official websites of spiritual directorates and the Penza region Ministry of Health, says the press service of the regional Department of Internal Policy and Mass Communications.
