Penza, 27 May 2015. PenzaNews. Over 63 thousand traffic violations were registered by road video cameras in the Penza region from January to April 2015.

“Daily use of these cameras in the places with high accident rate has a direct impact on road users and contributes to the prevention of accidents,” the propaganda group of the traffic police department in the region reported to PenzaNews agency.

The ministry added that at present 60 regional stationary control zones are equipped with the video registering complexes.

“Most of these zones, 50, are located along the M5 ‘Ural’ highway, and eight are situated on Tambov–Penza road near Konstantinovka, Kryukovo and Zagoskino, as well as in Penza. Two more areas are on the Penza–Saransk road near Bessonovka,” the press service said.
