Eco-campaign “Children for Nature Preservation” scheduled in Penza’s central park

Penza, 31 May 2015. PenzaNews. An eco-campaign “Children for Nature Preservation will take place at the Belinsky Central Park of Penza on Friday, June 5.

The event is a part of the eponymous all-Russian children’s eco-festival held for the first time.
The participants of the campaign will clean the Path of Health and the park grounds from trash, and collect autumn leaves and welted grass in the forest, followed by an optional guided tour to the Ivan Sprygin Botanical Garden.
The campaign will also include a performance program by Penza artists and singers, bands and poets.
During the breaks, the participants of the eco-campaign will receive award certificates and letters of gratitude from the Green Wave Movement.
Moreover, the event will also feature a photo-exhibition of the wildlife found in the Privolzhskaya Forest Steppe nature reserve, quiz shows and eco-contests for the children, and a photo session with animal dolls.
The campaign tries to attract public attention towards the ecology issues in the region and spread the popularity of World Environment Day.
The cleaning will begin at 11.00 am, while the official part will follow it at 14.00 at the scene by the park planetarium, says the press service for the Ministry of Forestry in the Penza region.
