The court bailiffs made several attempts to make the person responsible comply with the law and demolish the building on its own, but the court decision was left unfulfilled, Yana Zagrebelnaya, official representative of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs of the Penza region, told PenzaNews agency.
“He was subjected to 49 fines for a total of 118,000 rubles. The person paid them in full, together with a transfer fee of 5,000 rubles,” said the speaker.
The building had religious icons inside at the time of its demolition on Monday, June 1, she clarified.
“We offered the members of the religious cell to collect their religious items in advance, but they started to do so only at the arrival of the bailiffs,” Yana Zagrebelnaya added.
According to her, the demolition works involved the court bailiffs who monitored the process, a fast dispatch police group, an EMERCOM brigade and several police officers.
“The members of the religious cell did not obstruct the demolition,” she clarified.
Yana Zagrebelnaya added that the procurement auction on demolition of the building located in the so-called Mikhaylovskaya religious cell was won by a Saratov construction company.
“The contract was signed at 1 million 111 thousand rubles,” the speaker said.
