The visit to “Molkom” was the first in the day’s agenda.

The head of the region was accompanied by Vyacheslav Orel, acting deputy chairman of the Penza region government; Andrei Burlakov, acting regional Minister of Agriculture; Rashid Khayrov, general director of DAMATE Group; and Roman Kalentyev, general director of “Molkom.”

Ivan Belozertsev inspected the milk quality control post and retail packaging area, gave high praise to the level of technology he saw, and sampled the produced goods after the tour through the facilities.

Commenting on his impressions, the acting governor stressed the production of the Penza company is in high demand both within the Penza region and outside it.

“We do understand that enterprises of such level cannot exist without state support. A single investor is just unable to provide such funds – and this facility had 600 million rubles of investments, – especially now,” Ivan Belozertsev added.

In his opinion, the issue of providing state support to such enterprises becomes particularly vital within the boundaries of the strategically vital import replacement mission.

The head of the region announced his instructions to find an opportunity to involve the Penza region in the agriculture-related federal funding programs.

Next on the agenda, Ivan Belozertsev visited the “Penzadieselmash” factory, and took a guided tour through the facilities, escorted by the director Vladimir Karpov and the head of the Penza region Ministry of Industry Mikhail Torgashin.

Vladimir Karpov told the acting governor about the equipment used in the factory and the plans to produce goods with high competitive potential.

In particular, Ivan Belozertsev was shown a new diesel engine that was designed up to the modern technical and ecological requirements, which is currently undergoing lab testing.

The acting Penza region governor expressed his belief the enterprise continues to develop further, and wished its staff and management new profitable production orders.
