Only 10 percent of 1.5 billion rubles allocated for the construction of a new perinatal center in Penza has been used, the acting Minister of Construction and Urban Amenities for the region Alexander Grishaev announced during the briefing session in the regional government held on Monday, June 15.

“There are issues with documentation processing, with financing between an employer and a subcontractor, but the situation is complicated since the employer is ‘Rostekh’ and the subcontractors are its own organizations. Of course we are trying to influence the process,” he said.

Alexander Grishaev that the Russian Health Ministry and the Social Insurance Fund will soon receive an address to begin the review of the troubling issues at the federal level.
