Penza, 15 June 2015. PenzaNews. The traffic police announced the results of the campaign “Drunk Driver” held in the Penza region on June 12-14.

As the press office of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency, a total of 117 people were detained for driving drunk.

“The measures were aimed at ensuring road traffic safety and preventing DUI-related accidents,” they explained.

The police also reminded that drunk driving or refusal to be tested for blood or breath alcohol content is punishable with a fine of 30,000 rubles and a driving ban for 18 to 24 months.
