Penza, 20 June 2015. PenzaNews. 189 people out of the 210 who were detained by the Federal Migration Service department of the Penza region were deported out of Russia since the beginning of 2015.

“We once again deported yet another group of 17 Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan citizens on Thursday, June 18. Most of them paid the tickets, food costs and other expenditures on their own. The ‘Uzbek Commune’ greatly aided them financially,” the press service of the Federal Migration Service department in the region told PenzaNews agency.

This work allowed the federal budget to save over 1.5 million rubles on tickets and meals in the detention facility alone, the officials informed.

“Currently, 36 more citizens in violation of the Russian migration laws are awaiting the decision on deportation in the detention facility,” the department noted.
